Please read these terms carefully before using StudyFlow. By accessing or using our Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using StudyFlow at studyflow-zeta.vercel.app you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including students, educators and visitors.
2. YouTube Terms of Service
StudyFlow uses YouTube API Services to provide music search functionality. By using StudyFlow you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
StudyFlow is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google
YouTube content accessed through StudyFlow remains subject to YouTube's terms and policies
StudyFlow is not a substitute for YouTube — it is an educational study platform that uses YouTube music search as a supplementary focus feature
We add significant independent value by integrating music search within a comprehensive study environment
3. Account Registration
To use StudyFlow you must create an account. By registering you agree to:
Provide accurate, complete and current information
Maintain the security of your password and account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
Be at least 13 years of age
Not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limitations
4. Subscription Plans and Payments
Free Plan

Basic features with limited AI requests per day. No credit card required.
Pro Plan
R100/mo
Full access to all features including unlimited AI. Or $5.99/month.
Payments are processed securely through PayFast (South Africa)
Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
You may cancel at any time — access continues until end of billing period
We do not offer refunds for partial months
Prices may change with 30 days written notice
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use StudyFlow for any of the following:
Illegal Activity
Violating any applicable laws or regulations
Harmful Content
Uploading offensive, illegal or copyrighted material
Technical Abuse
Hacking, botting or bypassing security measures
Academic Fraud
Submitting AI content as your own without disclosure
Impersonation
Impersonating other users or StudyFlow staff
Commercial Misuse
Reselling or redistributing StudyFlow services
6. AI Features and Content
When using AI-powered features you acknowledge that:
AI-generated content including flashcards, quizzes and summaries may not always be accurate
You should verify important information from authoritative academic sources
AI features are intended as study aids and not replacements for professional academic advice
We are not responsible for academic outcomes or decisions based on AI-generated content
Your content may be processed by third-party AI providers including Groq, Google Gemini, OpenRouter and ElevenLabs (for podcast text-to-speech)
7. Intellectual Property
StudyFlow and its original content, features and functionality are owned by StudyFlow and protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform. By uploading content you grant StudyFlow a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, display and process it solely to provide the service to you.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
StudyFlow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, StudyFlow shall not be liable for:
Indirect, incidental or consequential damages
Academic outcomes or grades
Data loss or service interruptions
Third-party service outages (YouTube, Supabase, Groq etc.)
Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms without refund. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon termination your data will be deleted within 30 days.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email and in-platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
