This policy governs how you may use StudyFlow and its AI-powered features. It exists to ensure a safe, fair and productive environment for all students.

StudyFlow is an AI-powered study platform built exclusively for educational purposes. This Acceptable Use Policy ensures that all users can benefit from a safe, productive and fair study environment. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Permitted Use
StudyFlow is designed for educational and study purposes. The following uses are permitted and encouraged:

3. Prohibited Use
Academic Dishonesty
Submitting AI-generated content as your own work in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies
Using AI features to complete assessments, assignments or exams dishonestly
Sharing AI-generated content as original work without proper disclosure to your institution
Harmful Content
Uploading, creating or sharing content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory or harmful
Generating content that promotes violence, discrimination, hatred or harassment
Uploading content that infringes copyright or intellectual property rights
Sharing another person's personal information without their consent
Technical Abuse
Attempting to reverse engineer, hack or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
Using automated bots, scripts or tools to abuse AI features or bypass rate limits
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent Free plan limitations
Attempting to jailbreak or manipulate AI systems through prompt injection
Sharing account credentials with other users
Commercial Abuse
Reselling, redistributing or sublicensing StudyFlow features or AI-generated content commercially
Using the Platform to build a competing product or service
Scraping or systematically extracting data from the Platform
Using StudyFlow's AI infrastructure to process content unrelated to studying
4. AI Usage Guidelines
When using StudyFlow's AI features you agree to the following guidelines:
Use AI-generated content as a study aid to enhance your learning, not as a replacement for genuine understanding
Always verify important academic information from authoritative sources before relying on it
Do not attempt to manipulate, jailbreak or exploit AI systems through adversarial prompts
Do not use AI features to generate harmful, misleading or deceptive content
Apply critical thinking to all AI-generated responses — AI can and does make mistakes
Disclose AI assistance to your institution where required by their academic policies
5. Fair Use of Resources
Free Plan
Basic features with AI access subject to rate limits. Rate limits exist to prevent abuse, not to enforce plan tiers.
Pro Plan
Full access to all features. AI requests are subject to fair-use rate limits to prevent automated abuse.
Rate limits apply per-user per-minute to protect Platform stability. Accounts exhibiting patterns of automated abuse, scripted usage or intentional circumvention of limits may be restricted or terminated.
6. Enforcement
Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions at our discretion:
Warning and temporary feature restriction
Suspension of AI features for 7 days
Permanent account termination without refund
Reporting to relevant authorities where illegal activity is involved
7. Reporting Violations
